Finally, the time has felt right to offer a retreat here, with my friend & great yoga teacher Katherine Jantzen - we know this will be a very special, tranquil time of learning & sharing. We can't wait to be there with you!

ABOUT US

Emily & Katherine first met through their practice of Ashtanga Yoga around 10 years ago.

Over the years, our shared interest in the rigour and lineage of this physical practice led us to take trainings and intensives together with teachers including Mark Robberds, Deepika Mehta, David Swenson, Brian Cooper, Claire Berghorst and many many more.

Through a shared love of music & song, meditations on mantra as taught by our teachers have also become part of our practice and offering.

Katherine has practiced & studied mindfulness meditation with many great teachers. She is skilled in Indian Head Massage, and qualified as a life coach.
Emily's past work as a music therapist, combined with learning from teachers such as Anodea Judith on the energetics of the subtle body, plus training in yoga to reduce stress and chronic fatigue, lead to her unique use of music to support yoga practices.

Between us, we have an extremely rich & broad palette of experience to share in our teaching of yoga and meditation. It is our pleasure to offer this space and time to you!
More about the location of Nomada
NOMADA is ideally situated in the beautiful Terres de l’Ebre in the very south of Catalunya, Spain. A tranquil setting in twelve acres of organic olive, almond and carob groves with a beautifully restored farmhouse dating back to the 1800s.
Nestled in the valley our backdrop is the Cardó Mountains, graced with glorious, ever-changing sun-rises and huge, starry night skies.
You will wake every morning to bird song and fresh mountain air.
This land is a haven for plants and wildlife, and many different species of birds and butterflies are found in the area. Swifts, swallows, warblers and house martins come and nest every summer and Bonelli’s eagles regularly fly overhead.
The pool offers peaceful relaxation time with incredible views over the mountains and gardens and there are many beautiful hikes on the doorstep.
This little pocket of southern Catalunya is so rich in diversity and history and there is so much to see and do if you do decide to venture away from your hammock…
You can hike or cycle straight from the door or explore further afield by car.
Local attractions include the mighty Ebro river, the vineyards of Terra Alta or Priorat, the Ebro Delta and the secluded coves of the Costa Daurada.
